    Ava Johnson
    Ms. Ava is a CDP alum and current student at Johnston Community College, where she’s pursuing a degree in Cosmetology with dreams of owning her own business. Originally from Connecticut, Ava trained at Powerhouse Dance and Rising Stars Dance Academy before moving to Clayton, NC. She was a member of the Cleveland High School dance team and performed at football and basketball games, building lifelong friendships. Ava’s training and passion have led to exciting opportunities, including performing with the Boston Celtics and attending a Rockettes intensive.

    Ava found a home at Carolina Dance Productions as part of the CDP Company, earning numerous awards across the Carolinas. Along with managing a busy school schedule, Ava returned to CDP to continue teaching recreational classes! Her favorite styles are contemporary, lyrical, and jazz, and she loves sharing her experience with younger dancers. Ava is excited to continue growing at CDP while inspiring the next generation of performers.
