Sydney Nelson

Ms. Sydney is a teacher and performer from Fuquay-Varina, NC. She has been dancing for 15 years, performing with Studio 5 Dance Company for 13 years, and performing at Meredith College for two years. At Meredith, she performs with the Meredith Jazz and Tap Company and Meredith Dance Theater, and choreographs and performs in the Meredith Jazz and Tap Company and DanceWorks shows. As a dancer, she has experience performing and teaching tap, clogging, ballet, modern, lyrical/contemporary, and jazz. Teaching at Studio 5 Dance Company, she has experience leading tap, clogging, ballet, jazz, beginner-level acro, and creative movement classes. As a Junior at Meredith College she is pursuing a dual degree, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Art in Dance.
