Scarlett Freeman

Ms. Scarlett is a North Carolina native with over 22 years of involvement in the performing arts; trained in styles to include ballet, ballet en pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, pom and musical theatre. Scarlett spent the majority of her dance career at Alicia’s School of Performing Arts in Benson, North Carolina where she was was a member of their Elite Company. She also trained ballet and ballet en pointe at the distinguished ballet conservatory Cary Ballet in Cary, North Carolina. Scarlett went on to dance on her collegiate dance team and in the year 2018, was selected to be a professional NBA Dancer for the Charlotte Hornets NBA Dance Team. She later had the honor of performing at the world renowned NBA All Star event in 2019. Scarlett now resides in Clayton with her husband Nathan and their dog, Dolly. In her time outside the studio, she can be found on the beach or at a Pilates class. Scarlett is most passionate about instilling her love for performing in young dancers and seeing them reach their fullest potential. She couldn’t be more excited to be apart of the CDP family!
