Five things every parent should know before choosing a dance studio

What type of staff do you employ?

All of our teachers are outstanding adult professionals who are highly trained and qualified in their fields with industry certifications, college degrees or professional dance experience. Most importantly, they posses a positive, nurturing, friendly attitude.

What type of facilities do you have?

Our classrooms are equipped with professional “sprung floors” that will greatly reduce the chance of injury. Viewing stations for each classroom are conveniently located in the lobby. We are centrally located near Clayton Schools, neighborhoods, shopping and walking trails.

What type of curriculum do you have?

We offer many dance techniques including Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Clogging, Hip Hop, Dance Play, Tumble, Competitive Company, Pre-Company, Musical Theatre, Leaps & Turns, Contemporary, Lyrical & All Boys Hip Hop.
We also offer fun-filled Summer Dance Camps.

We offer a FREE trial class for each style….

    How are the classes structured?

Our classes are structured first by age, then by ability of the dancer. Student-Teacher ratios are kept low in order to insure each child receives individual attention. Should we feel that a child needs to be replaced in order to better challenge their technical ability or to accommodate their personality we do so relatively quickly.

What makes Carolina Dance Productions different?

We have a state of the art facility and a clear vision to guide us from our Artistic Director Lori Dew and an outstanding professional staff of instructors. CDP provides a solid technical foundation in a fun-filled environment for a variety of dance styles to all ages and levels. Lori expects her dancers to work at their highest potential while still keeping them in a nurturing and supportive environment. Carolina Dance Productions is committed to giving personal attention to each student while allowing them to develop a true appreciation for the art of dance.
